The scores used in DENTRO depend on the context used and the availaibility of reliable information. It is, therefore, recommended to ask advice from the (local) tree nursery or agroforestry experts on which species (and specifically which varieties or cultivars) are most suitable for your context and purposes. Please note that your input has a direct effect on the outcome of DENTRO. This tool leads to an outcome that summarizes and visualizes all your choices. As a user, you are therefore responsible for the correct selection of the parameters that fit your agroforestry plot. The result of DENTRO should, thus, be interpreted as indicative, but not as binding advice. The result is only a preparation of supplement to, but not a replacement for selective advice and guidance tailored to specific farm and environmental situations.
